The film tracks 17-year-old Joshua “J” Cody, a troubled kid caught between his own criminal family and Detective Leckie (Guy Pearce), a compromised cop who thinks that he can save him. Along the way the family embark on a downward spiral of double-dealing, cat and mouse games with the cops and murder.
